This is a well done sonnet that seems ekphrastic because it matched the artwork so well. And you are right that we sometimes miss the simple beauty that is around us. This is sad.

I did enjoy it. I live on the edge of a protected wetland area and have a lot of trees to walk through on my daily walks. I often see deer and wild turkeys in my yard.
