I like your story because it seems real. Now how large could that star have been? You describe "it" very well, making your reader visualize what happened. Good use of dialog to add tension and your last line is terrific as you make us wonder if the Speaker LITERALLY swallowed that star. Rod

I enjoyed the element of surprise rendering the main character speechless- the story ending is very clever since there is nothing more final than disbelief- yet we experience a short glimpse of the super natural
