This is such an emotionally charged story. You drew me into Amy's world and the moral dilemma she faces. The contrast between her initial excitement about a potential promotion and the abrupt shift in her circumstances after witnessing the hit-and-run incident is shocking.
You've done such a good job of capturing her internal struggle. The tension builds steadily and this easily kept my interest. Great job!

Hmm, while you have an interesting story. In the future, you may want to show vs. tell. Your story is all telling or narrative. Also, and this isn't your fault as the contest creator is exactly correct on the definition of Cognitive Dissonance. But your MC doesn't display this. Good luck.
