A lovely account of a well deserved holiday. I'm glad you finally found something that worked to help relieve your depression and I'm sure people will read your story and agree that your holiday sounds blissful :-)
A friend recently told me that she had restarted Sertaline after having come off it a while ago. When she first started to feel low again, she felt that she couldn't go back to taking it (as she had a few years back) not because it hadn't worked, but because she felt that she would be going backwards. After talking herself back into it, she decided to start taking it again and explained to me how it had improved her mood and her ability to enjoy life once again. She realised that it was actually a step forward that she had taken and a big step at that.
Your story shows that everything came good in the end and both you and your children now have those precious memories to look back on.
