This was great. It was so funny. You capture the playful perspective of a dog on a quest to retrieve a bone lost in the forest. The urgency of the dog's search, coupled with the mysterious atmosphere of the dark woods, creates a sense of adventure and anticipation. The dog's determination to find the bone is evident as it pauses to reflect on where it might have dropped it. Despite the initial setback I love that there's a sense of optimism that Susie will provide another bone! haha. Nicely done.

What a great choice of artwork for the Dog Bone poetry competition--he looks so sad. This is a nice 4-line poem telling a little story about his lost dog bone, your rhyme scheme is spot on. Great job! Good luck!
