Yes unbeknownst to us some scenes in nature bring a smile spontaneously to our faces like the scene described so effectively here in these lines -thanks for sharing

This is lovely. You answered the challenge well. The image of a field of
poppies would certainly bring smiles to the faces of those witnessing such a beautiful sight.Your rhyming pattern woks well too.

Poppies are pretty wispy flowers that blow gently in the breeze and symbolise peace and tranquility. I enjoyed your fine words for the contest, love Dolly x x x

    I went to a local nursery today with my wife and felt I was looking at fields of color. So many varieties. Poppies are one of my favorites. I am very pleased you enjoyed this short rhymed poem.
