We all have hopes and dreams and when they are lost, life becomes empty.
Often sadness kicks in .. I like the closing stanza .. tears that will fill the ocean.

I love that title and your 4 line verse expands beautifully to give an image of great sadness and loss. This is fluent, well rhymed and your added touch of giving each line a starting letter of 'W' adds an additional flow and flavour to this excellent post (my favourite!) Good luck! Debbie

This is a haunting poem presenting a very clear picture with its descriptive words. The chosen artwork illustrates it perfectly. It complies correctly with the contest requirements and expresses such a sadness and deep feelings. Very nice--good luck!

-Effective imagery, rhyme, and topic.
-The opening two lines are very good
and have a calming effect.
-But things aren't as they seem because
too many dreams have been lost.
