This was a really cute poem. My only suggestion would be that you lighten the background and / or put the writing in bold and increase the size. As far as the writing goes, however, you earned the six stars as far as I am concerned.

This is fun and a bit scary at the same time! I literally travelled with that spider on its journey from wall to door and floor, and got the heebie jeebies thinking of when they do explore and you cant find where they've disappeared too. Until it appears again, to scare me ha !! Well done, God luck with the contest

Big spider better stay away
I have a can of spider spray
or I will smash him with my shoe
I hate spiders through and through
