I'm reading this as the force of the winds were, luckily, at teenager strength which, of course, would be damaging and frightening enough to go through. A good choice for this 5-7-5 'air' challenge. Good luck with it,

Thanks, Valda. I had fun with this one, having raised three daughters and now witnessing four granddaughters storm through their teenage years.

This is good but I think it could be better. I spent too long (seconds) trying to work out why your second line begins with force. Then I realised the hyphen was to indicate enjambment and not a pause. I feel this would be better if you kept the word Force the same size as Hurricane, it will be a bold choice but I think it will not only clarify meaning but look confident.
