Our phones are stored in the oddest places and they often hide themselves from us! I loved this cheerful and humorous post about the life of a mobile phone, I was amused here Jessica, love Dolly x

Hi Jessica!

I love the humor in this one! I think we can all relate to losing our phones... almost daily lol

This is great personification. Love it!

This is very funny and I'm sure so true from a phone's point of view.
I'm guilty of misplacing my phone (but never in the freezer!)
Great rhyme and meter with lots of great images for a very entertaining read. Nancy

Even your title has a nice little inclusion of 'i' referring to the phone. Frankly, I wouldn't mind losing mine but that's another issue! Once again you've done what, at first, might seem a complex task, but achieved with aplomb! Personification of that elusive little device. I thought/hoped there might be some pain when the charger was inserted! Enjoyed your humour and creativity here. I can't help thinking you must be a fun Mom to have around! Take care Debbie xo

You chose the perfect title and cartoon artwork for the subject of your poetry. It is humorous and relatable. Cell phones are a necessary nuisance that needs to be cared for, protected, charged, rebooted, and always kept near your person. You've done an excellent job conveying that message in your well rhymed, fun poetry.

LOL! The dangers of being a cell phone (or cell phone owner-which is probably why I don't have one). This is well written, great rhyme scheme and meter, love the alliteration in the 3rd stanza, the humor is wonderful. Great job!

" her shoe," Uh, really??
Good reading flow and abab rhyme scheme in the quatrains.
Nice, apt complementary picture art.
Humorously interesting personification of a phone.
"Dare I say, the charger? Kitchen counter? By the bed?" Uh, boring, boring, boring!
Good imagery, as I could envision all those places the poor phone had been neglected.

After I read this, I realized I had no clue where my phone is. The last thing I remember is putting in my purse while I went to the gym. Humm, the gas station, the stopped to get an iced caramel coffee, the ban, then the grocery store, then back home. I think I'd better find it. Darn thing!!! I did enjoy reading.
