This is a nightmare, to be betrayed by your mind. Your story is well done telling the story from Lester's POV, who is unaware of his crimes, then the reveal coming from the Dr.

This section is confusing. It sounds like you are saying he has one personality, not multiples. But the response makes it sound like he has two, Lester and the killer. Maybe you mean he only has one alter?

(((Not a bit. Some patients have multiple personalities but Davenport, he has only one. And it's a killer!"

"So, Doc, he has no idea of the second personality?")))

This would have made a wonderful novel! The places you could have taken this story is fantastic! On one would guess as they read along that he is the ghost himself until you get nearer the end. Good luck in the contest...
