i. love. this. poem. it brings me back to similar times. i know i don't really of course, but i feel like i know where you were when you wrote this, and that is a great talent to have. everything is related to everything when there's grieving involved.

Ants are made to die? Not sure why, but there are a lot of them. I have a suggestion for you Rachelle. If you format your poem so that each line is written under each other, it will be easier for the reader to understand and also read your words, good luck with your poetry, love Dolly x

I thought your poem was a unique exploration of love. You share a picture of an emotional journey so well. And I loved your word choices like "sunshine daylight". You share raw emotions and do so in a unique and enjoyable way. Great job.

I really enjoyed reading this so much imagery to get my teeth into and digest. I like the theme of family and insects running throughout especially your aunties view on ants, and the queens undershoe foreshadowing ants getting their wings.

Thank you so much for the six stars!

Well, my goodness this is impactful. Some of the greatest works that I have seen have come from people who are incarcerated in various institutions. I think it has something to do with freeing the mind while the body is trapped.
Anyways, I bet there is a story there.
Great read.
