I know Barry is going to love this beautiful poem you wrote for his birthday. He sounds like a man with a mind of his own which is to be admired. Visited Sydney many times it's just across the ditch. Visit Perth more, twice as far but my daughter and family live there. Take care LOL

    Hi Dan, so good to see you again and thank you so much for the lovely review for Barry's poem. Thank you for the six stars and I i'm still waiting to slow down a little bit here. I've had so much planned that has to be done.
    Are you going to be staying and writing anything new in the upcoming future? The reason why I'm asking is because I'd like to use your newest post to be introducing you to people who don't know you already, because they will want to check you out. Anyway, thanks a lot for everything. .

    You're welcome. I don't have anybody in my life that really encourages me in my writing except the people on FanStory and a lot of them, not so much. Having said that though, my writing has definitely improved because a fan story!

    All right, what would you like to see me write?
    1. A poem?
    2. Or a thought for contemplation?

    (I just figured out why so often you are getting a double reply from me saying exactly the same thing. I can correct that!)

I like Bob Dylan songs. I saw him in concert. It was disappointing. People wanted to hear the classics but he only wanted to sing his new songs. After a while he just left early. A bunch of people waited in line for hours.

Barry sounds like a fun man. I like wine too, though I don't drink alcohol anymore.

    .Hi MariVal. Bob Dylan is from my state of Minnesota but I have never cared for him or his singing. And his attitude was bad too so not surprised he did that at the concert.

    Also, I posted a Crescendo poem tonight and it was hard to do in rhyme and meter w the odd increased, but I think I did

Nice artwork and presentation, Debi. You did a good job with Barry's birthday poem. It is a nice way for Fanstorians to get to know more people on the site. It sounds like he has a very nice family, and he should be proud of his book about wines. A very good concluding verse lets us know some of his interests. A glad of wine on the porch sounds very nice and inviting. I like your concluding line, too.

This is a very nice tribute poem, I feel I know Barry after reading it. I have a soft spot for these types of poems since when I had my poetry business, I mainly did personalized tribute or special event poems on order. Very nice effort and I'm sure Barry loves it.
