Someone once said to me that they did not vote because whoever you elect, the government gets in. This piece depicts a jaundiced point of view, and gets the point across well. I have never seen Star Wars, so the bar scene referenced does not bring an image to mind, and I do not know what the boat lift is referring to. Of course, not every reader will get every reference in every poem ever written.
I like 'the kaleidoscope and chameleon overcoats issued''. I want one!
The biblical ending is powerful.

I really don't know what to say to this, but I agree to what this is saying. Puppet is our leader today, and we can't trust one single polititan. It is going to be a wild ride.

Reality is what most people seek; however it is often difficult to accept. Especially when looking into the actual mirror.

Very true. I enjoyed reading this. I felt it was an unbiased fair account of a type of person. I feel you need to be unbiased with this not to annoy 50% of your readers. I have a tip for you. As a person who reads and reviews a lot on here, I seek out shorter writing. For example, I have never read a book chapter. A good way to know it is short is to be told if you put it in the description it might help. This only counts if you want to but it up for review of course might not be relevant.

Thanks. I agree shorter is better. My problem is what a philosopher said; "Too soon old, too late smart."
