Nicely written Etheree about the long wait for spring to begin. We can see the snowflakes on the ashphalt, and t does make for a pretty picture, but I'm glad to only see it in pictures. Hope it stops snowing soon for you, Kim.

How odd to be reading about a lingering winter when we're in the precise middle of autumn. I like the form. I'd heard of it before but had never taken much notice. The twist of humour at the end lifts it nicely.
