childhood friends are all friends, or they are not. How do we know at such a young age, you were happy to leave, did you discover who were your friends and who were not? This was a good read.

Thanks for your comments and award I really appreciate it. Unfortunately my best primary school friends went to different secondary schools we lost touch with each other, so it was time to make new friends which I did.

Nice little story, but I am somewhat bewildered by the way you have formatted it. Is it intended to be a poem? That's what it looks like broken up into those short lines.
There is no complexity or subtlety in the way you write. I suspect that will not give you a good chance in these contest, but I wish you well anyway.
