I did enjoy both this style of yours, Kim and also the lovely descriptions. Even in Alaska Spring brings out Nature's beauty. When I say even, it's because I always think of the snowy months. Nice presentation and good luck in the contest.
cheers,

Hi Valda!
We are still getting fresh snow. I always enjoy hearing from you. I hope all is well!

This a cool poetic form! And I like how you started and ended with the same two lines in a swapped order. Yes, the birds singing always brings us hope!

Hi Helen!
Creamer's Field is one of my favorite places for walking. I can't wait for the trails to melt and dry. Watching the birds brings me peace.

I enjoyed reading your poem it was very effective and full of imagery. I could relate to your poem and I'm sure many others will too. It's very well written and the photo images truly support your words.
Best wishes,

You're welcome!

I did indeed enjoy this style, but I imagine it must be a pretty difficult one to emulate. I loved the consonance that fits in with so many of the rhymes, and the concept of the eternal spring.

I found this format to be very descriptive and full of imagery.
Your words actually helped me to visual the entire scene and make me want to be there. That is a talent!
