We have two visiting cats who think they own us, they already look we fed, and we've found out the have their rounds, now we buy food for, I'm sure they have a forever home, look well taken care of. But they haven't adjusted to daylight saving changes either. well done, blessings Roy

Absolutely loved this read more than (can you believe it) pigs in a blanket, your first three-four stanzas had me near in stitches as I read through the games, to start with I thought you were ill, so glad I was wrong, so very well written, and in good humor I am glad that very hectic day was yours****kahpot

I enjoy your Tuesday stories about Miss Three, especially since I had a lot of exposure to three-year-olds during my thirteen years as a preschool teacher. I can't imagine bending down to push a doll stroller, and I'm only five foot two inches. Miss Three keeps you busy, but I know you enjoy her company.

What is a thunder vest?

Hello Wendy,
I'm giving this story a six because for one, it made me smile, and also because it was so well written, detailing your day with Miss Three. You remind me of my mother-in-law. When she used to visit, every other year because of the distance and expense, she always went out of her way to be a servant to the family. She doted on the kids, playing games, fixing snacks every day after school, helping wherever she could. She was always welcome in our house, and had she lived long enough, we would have had her move in with us. It would have been our honor to have taken care of her. I love your attitude and the way you express the love of God in every day situations. Well done gal.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

Thank you Tom! It is a high honour indeed to be compared to your mother-in-law! She sounds like the most wonderful person. Thank you too for the six stars - another honour. I am so glad you enjoyed the story.

"taken from her sister's notebook" refers to the paper? I first thought she had taken something her sister wrote and was trying to pass off as her own. Further reading made it more clear.

LOL! Miss Three finished your latte; is it caffeinated? I can imagine her bouncing off the walls, if so.

Remove quotes before I love WATERMELON.

You have daylight savings time also; I wish we'd just get rid of it here, and I think we will eventually.

Thanks for sharing you day.

xo
Pam

Fortunately, no the chai latte is not caffeinated. (Or I wouldn?t have given her a "taste"). Fixed the watermelon bit. I was trying to give a direct quote within a quote but got lost with two sets of quotation marks at the end. lol. I am still adjusting to the DS change. This morning Sunny did well, not waking till 6:10.
Many thanks for a fine review, thorough and helpful.

What a busy day! I'm hoping that your back has recovered from all that time playing at your granddaughter's level. It's so sweet that she wants to be friends with all the bus drivers even giving a dandelion gift.

Thank you Helen. Yes, it seems the bus ride is very special to her, and the drivers are always lovely, willing to wait till she gets safely into her seat etc. Last week she told him, "I like your bus!", because it was a new electric bus, very quiet and very streamlined. There was a little musical tone instead of just a buzzer when she pressed it for our stop. He was delighted then too. Thank you for a super review (and yes, my back is okay again, once I stopped bending over like that!)

This is a cute and reminds of time sept with my granddaughter who are already grown. The games Miss Lauren insisted on at three with tea party and School in which perferred to be teacher and disipline her student who she was never please with, As the cubby house, this is some my mother and i did when I was a child except it was called a rainy date tent and we only did when rained and couldn;'t go outside.

Thanks so much Beth! A lovely review. Yes, sometimes these little ones like to reclaim control and have a bit of a turn at being "boss" for a change. This one hasn't gone much for tea parties, but Miss Eight used to love them when she was only three.

It's always great to read of your adventures with your "girls" ~~ I see so many kids with tablets or phones in hand, even at three! My inner child LOVES to come out and play so we still have little "tents" set up in our living room and I'm not averse to seventeen rounds of "Go Fish."

You seem so great with them! Now wonder! Grandkids put the gold in golden years...

Lol. Thanks so much for this fun review, Karenina! Love the final sentence about them putting the gold into the golden years, that's a lovely expression. Many thanks again!

I get those odd looks when I'm "at bat" in the park with Maxwell pitching Wiffle Balls at me. What? At seventy I'm supposed to sit and embroider? LOL...
