Beautifully written and oh so true. It's a shame that so many are forgetting, or at least setting the Golden Rule aside, doing what they feel suits them and not how it suits others. I loved the poem!

That good, quite a lot sadder and hard hitting than I had expected. I really like the gold background very striking. Not so easy to read the font, it is attractive but even zoomed in I struggled to read some words foot looks like feet to me for example. I was a little confused by He wished he'd known. I wondered if that should read: We wish? Probably not just makes the abusive spouse seem caring in the end. Great read 5 stars.

Hi Mark, I do see your points and tried to work on a few of them. So the background color is too dark, but I like it to match with the art that I do myself. And that was the closest gold color I could find. I think I will see if I can find one shade lighter. I appreciate hearing from someone what I felt too.
I love to use the fancier fonts with certain posts, and I know that it is hard for some to read a few of them. Actually my favorite is called dancing scripts but I use it so much I felt this one called for something even a little fancier.
I am glad also that you brought up about my friend's husband. After she died he broke down and said he wished he would have treated her better. That he had come from that kind of family and should have known better. Yet, I had it how you suggested and someone thought I was being too judgmental. Which I thought was pretty heartless since I had just lost a friend. It also was the reason for this poem.
I appreciate all your kind and honest feedback as so many things that we struggle with ourselves if it doesn't feel quite right, to hear it from someone else then we know our intuition was spot on. So thank you, my friend. I am going to change the backdrop color and hope that helps some.

I loved the colour and the font, I just struggled to read it. but I zoomed in so I could. Thank you for getting back to me. It is a poem in my opinion it should be how you feel. It should be therapy. Great writing.
