This is such a happy story! It took me back to the Thomas the tank engine days... Your idea was perfect; to have an objective for the train to accomplish! I liked it very much.

This is an excellent poem for the children's poem contest
that incorporates some of the old time poem themes of trains,
like The Little Engine That Could.
Excellent rhymes and reads quite well.

An excellent entry for the Children's Rhyming Poem writing prompt. A cute take-off on the story "The Little Train That Could". Easy for a child to understand and be entertained by. Nicely done. Good luck in the contest.
