If you believe in the tree of knowledge then you believe in the Bible. What does it say is to become of mankind? It says this world will end regardless of our efforts.

Hi Kym,
I like the artwork and the philosophical tone of the poem. Without knowledge would we ever know how we came to be and how to make the world a better place.
Good luck in contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Enjoy your weekend.

It makes one wonder, doesn't it. I had to pause and think about it but didn't come up with an answer. Thank you for sharing this interesting contest entry with us. Good luck with the contest.

This 5-7-5, I Wonder, has the proper formatting and suggests that mankind will likely return to the muck from whence it dragged itself from initially.

The author's poem raises a question to think about. The
words are thought provoking
descriptive and creative. I like the statement that the author placed above this poem. "In which direction are we heading". I think about this often! The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome and compliments these words.

Yes, your philosophical poem really raises that question. Let's hope there is light at the end of our tunnel.
Very nice overall presentation for this contest entry. Advanced 'good luck' in the voting.

Excellent 5/7/5 poem and picture presentation supporting- poems flows well and asks a good question- are we going to learn from experience or step in it one more time? Not feeling optimistic at the point!! Good job - AP

I like the question in your 5-7-5 poem. I think your use of "tree of knowledge" could refer to the Garden of Eden where it is the forbidden tree of the "knowledge of good and evil." But if it's just of "knowledge" alone, and mankind forsakes it, we were be doomed to ignorance.
Best wishes in the contest!
