This is such a sweet poem. I like the line, "It is as if God provides a soul mate so small, yet so large in presence." Sometimes the tiniest beings like babies and small animals, can create such a big statement. I also like the line, "Little heart beats create warmth." That is so pretty! Great job!

The only guinea pig we had anything to do with, was a class pet at one of our children's schools, the kids were given the task of taking th small rodent home, taking care of it overnight, the only problem when it was my daughter's turn, the poor little critter died overnight, that was the last time one was in our care, lots of cats and dogs, but no guinea pig. Thanks dear Elaine, glad yours is a friend, great write, blessings Roy
