Nomi, this is a well-written, thought-provoking poem. One line that caused pause, and thought was that the devil and his angels were confined to a 1,000 years on the earthly floor. Jesus died 2,000 years ago. Does that mean the Devil has been free on earth for 1,000 years to do his evil? Well done. Terry.

Thank you for the review. Actually that confinement is yet to come, He is now free to reign death and destruction freely. That confinement is to take place sometime in the to be determined future.

Nomi, thanks for the clarification. Our little Baptist Church in West Texas didn't do much with Revelations back in the 50s and 60s.

It is comforting to know that God will not allow the likes of such people who are going around today creating wars, torturing souls, liars, cheaters, so much evil on Earth today. I am familiar with them, however at my age (81), I lack the bold and daring will needed, to attempt learning and putting forth enough effort to make it worthwhile. I would be devastated if I was not good at it.

I am old too, but my brain needs constant stimulation to misdirect my pain receptors. I have constant pain 24/7 and gave up RX pain meds years ago. They actually did less and less and required more and more. I keep busy and attempt to out run it. I am mostly successful. When I attempt something brand new I run it past a few friends here before I post it that way I don't pull a real boner. I have attempted to write a western for some time. I am horrible at it. I hope you write more. It helps in all kinds of ways. Karen

Striking imagery in the artwork. Messages from Revelations always scare me--so graphically cataclysmic. Good rhymes. I wish the devil would be locked up for way more than a thousand years--but forever. Will evil ever cease/end for this world? God help us all. Good poem.
