Awwww. This is one extra delightful! What a great job you've done in every way - title, picture, words. I bet the voters will love this one; I know I do. Good luck in the polls, Mystery Contestant. xo

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

A dog doesn't care what colour your skin is , not what your creed is ..

A dog wants to have a relationship with you .. he will be loyal, protect you and love you.

Even those owners that after the novelty has rub off ignore their dog , find taking him for a walk, brushing him as chores,

that dog will still be committed to this relationship. And will be there always for you.

If we humans had a dog's heart imagine how this world would be .

Some would say it's not that simple for humans.

But why not?

We are all humans and we all want to be happy, be loved and live in a world where there is peace .

We just need to but prejudices aside and be committed in building this peaceful world.

Sorry if I have misinterpreted .

This is great, I don't actually understand quite what you are saying but that can be a good thing since it is up to me to give personal meaning. This can plainly be about a dog, Since the poem appears to be an opinion it also ties in with your title committed. Good Luck in the competition.

Enduring friendships will ignore race and creed. This message comes through clearly in your poem.
But the contest prompt says the animal should be mentioned in the poem, not just shown in the accompanying photo.

Good point. I?ll have to re-read the prompt.

I believe it just says to be featured in the picture as opposed to stating the animal in the verse. That?s how I read the prompt. Dog is man?s best friend hence I used friendship as the underlying message as well as a dog is colorblind.

You are correct. I reread the directions and rerated your poem.
