That's very true. I feel when I'm in the middle of one season I am wishing the next one along. I guess it's the grass is always greener scenario. I love the imagery and the unique descriptive phrases. Falls rust Tableau. That one got me. Beautifully done. Gretchen

A lovely sonnet expressing your longing for the warmth of summer to arrive. Your verse flows and rhymes well and you include some stunning imagery (I particularly like "Fall's rust tableau.") Personally, I wouldn't have put "segue" twice. The impact of the second one becomes rather lost as a result. But an excellent entry and I wish you well! Debbie
