Cute.
Well done.
It seems the dog has been thinking thoughts long before it found the chair, such as ...
Why leave me penned in here, or is it there? Whatever.
It is happy now that it found the chair that sits in the shad.

I enjoyed your take of the dog, Leo on his favourite chair and I could really imagine him saying just what you have written, Joan. I'm suure he does think he is one of us. Loved it, and thanks for participating.
cheers,
valda

Hahaha this made me smile for sure! Such a funny picture and cute little story to go along with it. Dog's really will make themselves at home wherever they want to.

From a pet's point of view, a comfort zone is different than a comfort zone for humans.
The picture of a dog lying on a chair tells the same story just as well as the poem does so they together say it all so well.
