Wow. This was something else. The imagery of the "Kitty House" being ransacked and broken with the horrible details was difficult to read but well written. Your poem speaks to the cruelty of those responsible so well. I can feel that you still mourn for them. What a terrible thing to have to live through. I'm so sorry.

I'm not sure I can type. Although beautifully written, that was one of the hardest things I've ever had to read. Sort of sitting here in shock. The cruelty of some is unimaginable to me and cruelty to defenseless animals or children is the worst. It was very well-written, powerful and obviously emotion-packed. I wish you luck in the contest.
