Hello, Helen!!! I actually wrote around 49,000 words in 15 days....now we wait and see. I don't know who else is in the contest so I have no idea what I am up against. but it was fun! Nice to hear from you. Are you home now or still traveling? Take care and talk soon. I catch a plane for N.C. in about five hours....Beach time....if only to hear the waves.
Thanks so much for your kindness and the stars.

Enjoy your vacation, Carol! My trip was to visit my mom - no beach time. But a blessed time nonetheless.
CONGRATULATIONS!

That is a super ending. Justice at last , explanations, Allie and Layla are reunited and each has a new romance. Everything has been tidied up very well. I just wish I could see the chief's face as he sits in his cell and contemplates his miserable future. Congratulations, Carol. A wonderful book, and I am sure it will do well in the contest. Best wishes.

Thanks, Wendy. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. My house was screaming for my attention and a new story idea had a hold of me as well. I'll be traveling to my granddaughter and three great granddaughters next week...a little beach time. Thanks again for all your support.

I saved this extra star for you because I knew you would pull it off with a great ending. Everyone was happy except the bad guys, and they were going to get what they deserve.

Thank you so much for being so kind and even hoarding a star for my story. Can't thank you enough. Yes, I doubt Harrison will be well received at the prison but he deserves what he gets.

Your writing deserves a six every time. I do not have that to give. So, I give six stars for the final chapters. You managed to tie up all the loose ends and end your book beautifully. Have a blessed day.

I wish I had a six left. I loved this story. GREAT JOB!!!!!
Garth placed his Stetson on his head and grinned, "I'm afraid this Cowboy (grinned.)
Jake's eyes widened in surprise, and Layla smiled, "What? I do read at times." (smiled.)
Jake laughed, "Frank, Troy, and I grew up together. (laughed.)
She shook him off, "It's all been a lie. (off.)

Sorry I am so late in responding. I got caught up in a new story idea and it's totally out of my realm of writing... but I want to try doing it and it seems it owns me already. LOL I fixed the mistakes right away and I thank you as always.

A perfect ending to a wonderful book, Carol. I've been holding on to these six stars until the final chapter! It's been a pleasure reading your incredible work and I hope you realize how truly talented you are, my friend!
What will you do with your time, now that you've finished an entire novel in twenty days? Rest? Eat a real meal? Sleep even?
Hurry now and get this to publishers! I want to hold it in my hands...and somehow get a signed copy!
Love you,
Karenina

I don't even know how to begin...Matt tells me about self-publishing on Amazon, but he says I still have to pay money for the cover, etc. I have an idea for the cover unlike what I used on FS. but I don't know how to go about it. Been trying to research some stuff. If I get published, I will personally place a signed copy in your hand, my sweet friend.
As for what I do next....already been spinning an idea for the next one, totally out of my realm so I don't know. And next Wed. I leave for N.C.
Thank you so much for the kindness and the stars. And all the support you gave me throughout this endeavor.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

IN the next few weeks I'll do some research and speak to some folks who have either self-published or submitted to publishers and I will email you any info I find. I think gathering info and options is a good first step and I'll be happy to support you in whatever way I can! Enjoy your North Carolina time!

A fantastic story, it's amazing the way you manage to mix crime, mystery and romance in the story, I'm not a great fan of pure romance, but you create great characters, strong, beautiful and feisty, well done, great job, blessings Carol, congrats, blessings Roy

I don't think I could write a straight up sloppy romance novel either... I could live it but prefer it remain behind closed doors. LOL Now stirring the pot with a little bit of this and that is how I cook and how I write. Thank you so much...

There aren't words to thank you enough for always being there and for the awesome reviews. Maybe I should put you in my next go-around. What role would you like to play? My characters are always looking for someone else to hang out with. LOL
