I'm late! Like, review #53! Clearly you've read all the accolades and now I get to smile and chuckle a bit as I say ditto!

The world sure needs the release of laughter!

Thank you so much, my dear K, I wasn't worried about it, just you. And I knew that for as many laughs as we have had together, you'd be over again to share one with me. Thanks for the fun review as I had to pick up on this National Day as we do need more laughter. Laughter and love go hand in hand. Dang, I should have written that in my poem. I still might for when I put it over to Medium.
Thanks again for the awesome review. Love, Debi

You made me grin with this laughter poem. Having a gracious heart is the best way to spend the day. We never want to go astray from Jesus, but we must also enjoy our stay on this earth.

Laughter is definitely the best medicine there is. There's one old comedy show called Keeping Up Appearances which always gets me howling and feeling better, no matter how many times I watch it. I really enjoyed reading this piece Debi.

LOL!!! A fun and really sweet poem Debi. We definitely do need something to laugh about and you gave us all a generous supply today. Sorry about the haircut but as you say, "it will grow".

Blessings my friend.

Pam, you are so incredibly sweet and thoughtful. I so appreciate all the very sweet things you said about my laughter poem. I just know that when I am sad about things, my lupus starts acting up and I end up with a flareup.

And if I find things to laugh about, it will only last about half as long. And at my age at almost 70, my doctor says that it is doing big time organ damage each time I have one. And my kidney disease is almost ready for dialysis, so I love to find things to laugh about. I am not complaining at all about my health,, but loving to do things that cause better health.

Thanks again for the loveliest review, comments and for the honor of your six stars. I love the things you do to make you laugh too. If you have never seen it, the movie, "Ruthless People" is wonderful. Maybe my favorite because you have to watch close to get all the laughs. It is an 80s film and that era was the best. Danny Davito and Bette Midler are in it.

Once again, you are such a lovely friend. Thank you so very much.

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Debi. Thanks for sharing in your reply. There was an old movie that really made me laugh and I couldn't think of it. It was "Cactus Flower" with Goldie Hawn. It was one of those things where I laughed until I cried. She did some incredible movies with a sense of humor. I probably saw the one you mentioned but I will look it up.

I did not know there was such a thing as National Laughter Day. Loved these lines:
We all know health's our greatest wealth
Bouquet of laughter is my gift (loved the imagery with this one!)
Thanks for sharing, Debi, and I hope every day is filled with laughter!

I liked this fun, light poem. I'm glad your haircut worked out in the end. I admire you for being able to cut your own. I could never tame my mane. I need professional help!! I enjoyed this poem about humour. Being able to laugh at ourselves is an important life skill.

Such wonderful advice, Debi. This was such a fun poem extolling the many virtues of laughter, something we could all use a lot more of these days. Especially now that we are coming into the political season when the acrimony and nasty rhetoric will begin to fly and arguments will ensue. You can already see it with a number of postings on this site.

I like your advice about putting on a funny movie. Beats listening to the news any day. Lots of laughter is certainly the key to a happier life.

Hi Jim, it is so good to hear from you. Mr Stranger, you are a sight for sore eyes. I love seeing ole friends and I thank you for such a kind review and comments.

I don't get out reviewing as much as I would like to, (scar tissue from shingles in my eyes a couple years back) so they really limit my screen time, so it really sucks to have to pay for your promotions.

Anyway, like I said, thank you and good to see you, my awesome friend.
    Love, Debi

Beautiful image and delightful verse to accompany it. I didn't know about Laughter Day but I definitely agree we should all have one of those! Laughter is so infectious..and that's got to be for a reason! Well done, Debi. We can all be a bit too serious and introspective here. Take care Debbie

Debbie, you are so right, as it is infectious. My husband and I watch an old 80s movie at least once a week, so we get the slight memory of how funny it was and lots of laughter. It is awesome.

And thanks so very much for the awesome comments for my laughter poem. I love that it's getting some smiles and a little laughter too.

Thank you again, my dear friend. Debi
