As you know, Barbara, I am not following books lately, so I don't often notice when an author I love posts something other than a chapter in his or her latest novel... But I'm sure glad I noticed this posting! My prayers are joined with yours!

Ben and I have been friends since before his wife passed away. I've been on this site since 2008. I think Ben joined around 2013. So I've known him maybe 11 years.

Nope, I'll be here until I'm too old to write any longer. Since I'm now 70 and plan on living another 25 or 30 years. I'll be around. My mom is 92 and still a spry old women.

Very good you are posting this. The more people who can pray or send healing the better it's good he felt the freedom to let us know: "Hey , sister in the Lord. Having a few issues let the group know I will return another day and fight the fight.." thank you for passing this on so we can send him healing and prayer.

thanks so much for mentioning this. I don't know or follow Ben, but a friend in need is a friend indeed as the saying goes. It's such a blessing to be on a site where there is so much compassion for each other. I'll certainly say a prayer for him. Please keep us updated.
