Your poem was beautiful. For me it shows the uncertainty of living your life. I love the metaphor of holding onto an idea so tightly - and when the fist is opened - losing it. That was so powerful. Great job - this is beautifully crafted.

Hold firm to your ideas and don't ever feel you need to prove anything to anyone. I am hoping I am close to what you were trying to say in this poem. Very well written and a good entry for the Share a story in a poem contest. I wish you good luck.
