This was terrific. I especially liked your Author's Notes, which was smart since there are those on here (I am among them) who only know OF him. So, sharing those one-liners was smart and very illuminating.

This one was my favorite:

"We always want the best man to win an election. Unfortunately, he never runs."

It seems especially true this year!! Good luck in the contest. xo

    Thank you, Rachelle. Will Rogers was one of my most favorite people...right up there with Mark Twain. Very few people can spout such wisdom in so few words, and make you laugh during the process. I appreciate you comments and good luck wish.

Great little 575 for the contest. Reading all of those quotes in your author note, I can't believe how many of them, maybe all of them, fit with today almost 100 years later. I guess there really is nothing new under the sun. Thanks for sharing all that information, I didn't know anything about him. Julie.
