I enjoyed your poem. cactuses are usually not cute, but this i one is. It is funny. This poem has good imagination. Very good job on this poem. Good luck with the contest.

    I do love cactuses (cacti), I don't really know why and I have a friend who's got quite a 'prickly' personality and whose balcony is full of ginormous ones. I wonder...

This 2-4-2, Prickly's Perfect Playmate, takes the cactus from the driest portion of the earth and matches him up with a creature from the ocean. Neat.

I love this little poem. It is too cute and how wonderful, the cactus and sea urchin are friends. Your picture is cute too and I have a fondness for cactus so I was delighted to come across your poem.

    So do I. I like all plants, but it's always more difficult to kill a cactus even if you aren't a great gardener. xxx

This is really cute. The way you used ellipses added to the punchline effect. The picture is adorable. The author's note had me intrigued, and I'm glad I read the poem.

The three "P"s of your story's prickly little point. LOL. Having never seen a hedgehog, sometimes called a prickly-pig, or a porcupine in person, I'll just have to keep my distance and trust what I'm told. Thanks for sharing.

Here's where our tastes diverge - I hate prickly things:-)

This is a fun read and fine presentation for this contest, and I wish you luck. These short forms are tough to write.
