A real well written poem for your 1500 milestone writing. I enjoyed listening to it, and I wish you the very best with all of your writing and congratulations on making The smile stone. Patricia .

Hi Judith, that is one cool cat, and he is King. Your poem reads and flows well and has good imagery and sensory appeal. Of especially liked:

Cats they are the King
Master of the house
They are everything
We are but a mouse

(Just a squeaky mouse. We're not even a king rat. Lol, but true.)

Well done. This poem made me smile. Xo. M

Hi Judith Ann.
This is a wonderfully witty poem about how cats view themselves. Most to have the regal air about them whether male or female. Sometimes they really do seem be playing with us like they do a mouse.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Congrats on reaching a milestone.
Have a great day.
Joan

Thank you Joan. It is based on my life on 7th Street in NYC where Otto occupied the top floor.

This poem, King Otto, presented with eight ABCB-rhymed quatrains, allows that somewhere it is accepted that the cats rule and others either accept this simple truth or own dogs.
