This piece hits the reader. Depending on where they are in their lives, it could be taken so many ways. sometimes it is hard to empty the thoughts from your mind. Other times you long to remember something you cannot. I felt both of this within this piece.

If we are all willing to admit, there is usually more air in our brains and content or mass. LOL. And of course, at times all the answers are so jumbled it hard to make any sense. Thanks for sharing.

haha. I thought this was terrific. I love how you emphasize nothing and today with the font choices. It really adds to the impact. With just a few words you made me laugh and I've had days like that!

I'm grinning, just hearing that it made you laugh. Perfect! That's what I was going for. Thanks so much for the read, and for commenting on the font. I wasn't sure how that would go over so I'm glad it worked.

Thank you, Roy. My guy is actually so much better. Yesterday, he went out and threw the ball for our pup. That spoke volumes to me. And, whether things turn out the way we wnat or not, God is always, always good and always on olur side. So often we thing that this life it 'the big show'. It's just the prelude. The good sutff is yet to come. :)
Thanks for walwys being a light.

That's quite a shocking statement in your 2-4-2. It's probably a gazillion things in your brain so that you're on overload so that it feels like nothing. Good to see you back, Deb! Best wishes in the contest!

Hi, Helen. thanks for the read and kind comment.
Have you completed your move? Almost certainly, but I know how moves can streeeeetttttcccchhh out even when we feel like we're done. :)
It's good to be back, even if it's just a pop-in once in a while.

How are you doing health-wise? And your husband??
We are catching up on medical appointments which were postponed due to the move and finding doctors and getting appointments took a LOT of time. But we are feeling settled. Thanks for remembering. 💖

I fell you on the catching up part. Yikes! I was looking at Steve's list of dr appts for the next couple of months and I THINK we have a 2 1/2 gap where we can zip out to Alabama and see our son there. Maybe. lol
My health is great. Still need to lose some stubborn weight. Maybe I need to put the sweet tea down... Nah, that won't do it! Maybe put down a lot more...
Steve... This month he spent 2 days in ICU at a level 1 trauma center, the rest of the week in a private room (thank God), then 2 weeks at a rehab center. He had pneumonia to the point he became septic for a bit. God is so gracious, though. If it had happened here, in our little town, or at night or while I was out running errands, he'd have gone to Heaven. Instead, he was having a procedure done to his back and had immediate doctor care. They started intervention right away, got him to the right facility, and he's doing great. He went out back last night and threw the ball for our puppy for a few minutes and I just stood watching, amazed and grateful.
And how is your hubby doing? I know lots of catching up, but is he doing better?
Blessings and hugs, and prayers, too!

Well, Debora, you got the number 2-4-2 right...so something good is going on...No aging may not be fr the weak of heart, but at my 89 years of age, there's a God up there, that looks out for you...If you have faith in Him,
Prayer works...Good luck in the contest...

Blessings

Warmly,
Victoria

Victoria , thank you for your statement of faith and the gentle reminder. I am SO fortunate to know and love God through Christ. And I know that, even in the midst of junk (and there's a lot, lot, lot of it right now), He is still guarding my heart and giving me faith, grace, and mercy to face it all. And I'm not alone here on the Earth, either, which is a double blessing. My hubby just came home from 3 weeks in hospital and rehab. So good to have him back! Lots of long days ahead, but we won't face them alone.
    Thank you again!
    Blessings and hugs,
    Deb

You're so very welcome, Debra, Prayers for you and yours, we are sisters in Christ, one doesn't have to be close by to Pray for another...
May you and your husband find peace, and well being...Blessings

    Warmly,

So true, Victoria! We can pray, and only distance separates us - not faith. I'm memorizing Psalm 40 this year (slowly... very slowly...) and I love the beginning! 'I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me and heard my cry... He put a new song in my heart, a hymn of praise for our God.' Every day is a new song. Every day we get to feel his grace and mercy, see His hand in our lives, know that He is our Creator, Redeemer, and Hope. And what did we do to deserve all this? Just trust Him with the faith that HE GAVE US. Incredible!
Thank you for the prayers. They will be returned your way, as well.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Deb
