Good to see Ayesha letting. her new lawyer know she wasn't going to be railroaded. You show different sides to her character in this chapter Tony. Another good read,
cheers,
valda

Thanks, Valda. Ayesha is in uncharted waters at the moment. I hope she manages to survive!

My goodness, Aeysha, is flipping moods like a fish out of water. She wants to feel normal, flirty and carefree but her circumstances make that impossible. She doesn't want to be patronized or womanizer. Great chapter. Gretchen

Many thanks, Gretchen. There's a big divide between her life in Sydney and her life in Thailand. Also coming to terms with becoming independent of Bruno. I don't think she knows if she's coming or going.

I hope Ayesha really does have 'deep pockets' and that they aren't filled with 'dirty' money that can be taken away from her.
Nice chapter.
Best wishes.

Thanks, Wayne. She's a poor little rich girl who may be overwhelmed by her fortune. We shall see.

Hello Tony,
Another well deserved six for an excellent chapter. You manage to make these connecting or continuing chapters quite interesting with the word play and some of the the subtle detail. Ayesha's character has a great deal of depth, giving the reader insight to her decisions and nature.
Steve seems like the right person to help her. In today's world "deep pockets" may be more acceptable than "deep purse strings."
Well done on all counts.
Best wishes.
Robert

You unpeel this other side of Ayesha in this chapter, and it complicates her character quite a bit. She seems a bit brusque with the lawyer, on one hand, and then also appears to be attracted to him. So you open up prospects of a potential relationship that would certainly cloud her relationship with Bapit. What I find a little jarring is how quickly and easily she seems to shove Bapit into the back seat at the same time as she seems so determined to proceed with these expensive plans to save this elephant. And then she whirls off with these party girls into the night as if turning her back on her compassion for Bapit and the whole scene in Thailand. Here, she seems more a part of Johnnos and Brunos world. I don't know how that reconciles with the character you portrayed in the earlier chapters. But the dialogue is crisp, really lively and realistic, the tension between characters is tight, and the suspense is rising. Be careful how you orchestrate it going forward. estory

Thanks, estory. There's a wide gulf between her life in Sydney and her life in Thailand. Both she and I have a balancing act to achieve! I appreciate your words of caution.

You really can spin a yarn Tony, there are some great writers here, you all seem deserving to be successful with a.broad audience. Love what's happening to Ayesha, although, she in reflection may not like the role she's playing, a sweet girl under the skin, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Ayesha seems like a rather simple good-hearted person. Maybe Bruno married her because he didn't think she would understand anything that was going on around her. I don't think she did. The lawyer seems like a rather innocent sort also, if a lawyer can be innocent.

Oh my, I'm afraid she and Cupcake are headed for trouble. It sounds like a bad part of town where attractive and wealthy young women could be preyed upon, especially if anyone there has gotten wind of Ayesha's money.

Tony, another flawless chapter with excellent dialogue interspersed with just the right balance of narrative. Humour too - I enjoyed the spoonerism in particular. Oh and Crafty and Subtle (brilliant!) But why don't I quite trust Ayesha? Her ambition is very commendable but is she really in love with Bapit or is this simply conscience determining her actions? If I were to be really picky - perhaps a contraction with 'I am' "All I'm saying is tread carefully." But well done, as usual! Debbie
