What a lovely, beautiful little bird. It looks very much like the little chickadees that are at my feeder all winter and summer. Only they are just black and white. Your bird is gorgeous. A fine subject for a 5-7-5 poem.

This is a delightful little post. I like the 'tr' sound with trilling/triumphantly. There is also 's' alliteration with 'song/spring.' I am so glad this won a prize; it deserves it. Great photo choice.

This 5-7-5, Blue Tit, has the proper formatting and lets the world know of, see this glorious little bird, and hear about its "triumphantly joyful song"...

This bird has the cutest little face, Debbie. You're 5-7-5 was perfect, and your notes added some of the histories behind the blue tit. I wonder why they came back so early to their little roost.
I loved this! Best, JohnC

Thank you so much, John, for your kind review which is a pleasure to receive! They've disappeared for a day so maybe they thought it was a bit early after all! I hope they'll be back. Take care Debbie

Hi Debbie, whenever I start to hear the birds chirping in the morning, my heart soars because I know that spring is near. Your poem reads and flows well and has good imagery. Of special note:
joyful song of spring
(It just filles my heart)
Well done. Gorgeous photo choice. A pleasure to read. This poem made me smile. xo. Margaret

So now you have me craving spring while yet the snow lays on the ground outside my window. Such a beautiful delicate creature that you have highlighted so well in your 575. Cerulean and trilling are both words I really like.
Thank you for sharing a poem and information about one of God's little creatures! Julie

Meanwhile, here in Upstate New York, USA, it is so freaking cold that, when I took Li'l Swish out for her morning walk just now, the snow honest-to-gawd SQUEAKED beneath our feet.
So thank you for this promise of springtime. I'd salute you with my steaming cup of hot coffee, but I can't bear the thought of allowing it to travel that far from my still-thawing skin cells.

So great to see you back in your rightful place, albeit cold and shivering! You've been missed! Thanks for your kindness here. xos

It wasn't easy; I was feeling some substantial temperature-envy. xo

Although that would be an unfortunate name to have in America, this lovely bird is not in America. This is a very beautiful precious-looking bird. How nice that it lives near your window. As always, your writing and full descriptions share so much detail. It was so interesting to read. Thank you for sharing.
Best wishes,
Alex :)

Hahaha! Same here in UK but we still have quite a range of them including great tit, bearded tit, long-tailed tit:)) Blue tits are very common and so cute - very busy, twitchy and even do somersaults in the air, probably simply out to faze their predators! Thank you so much for your kind review, Alex, greatly valued from you. Take care Debbie

That's creative of them, doing flips to protect against creditors, etc. I should've used that with my ex violent husband. ;)
