What a cute pig and what a fun poem. I never thought of a pig with laryngitis, but when they get in full voice complaining about something, it would be a good thing for them to get because they can be amazingly loud.

Lol. That's funny! Thanks for the humorous take on that cute painting of a pig. My sister-in-law actually had two very large pet pigs who were very smart and figured out to open the fridge door! Laryngitis would not have stopped them. Best wishes in the contest!

Hello Debbie,
this is certainly an original offering. I used to think I had a good imagination, but obviously I haven't been exposed enough to all the ultra talented people that are found on this site. I wonder, do pigs get laryngitis? I should look it up I guess. Thanks for sharing.
Have a blessed day.
Tom

Thank you so much, Tom, for your kind and thoughtful review. Apparently, animals do suffer from laryngeal disorders, well at least my pig does:))

This is a good poem done with this format. I love the alliteration. I didn't know pigs got laryngitis. I guess any creature can, but it shouldn't take much out of vocal cords to grunt.

I really enjoyed your use of alliteration and the phrase "disarmingly disgruntled" is really charming! Thanks for the share and good luck for the contest.

Hi
This is a cute picture that goes with a witty poem.
I would guess he would feel bad; I like the alliteration and consonance in
the last line.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a great rest of the weekend
Joan

A perfect piggy picture for a perfect piggy poem. Do I get some points for alliteration? This is a clever, playful poem, that simply delights. Well done!

Hmph, I wonder which nursery rhyme little piggy this one was. Must've been the one who stayed home, you know, since it had laryngitis.

Your short poem gave me a smile. You should do more of these!

Cheers from across the pond.

If you have a chance, can you send me the ?how to include a YouTube video? when I post?

    Much appreciated?

Yes of course. Go into You Tube, select, press 'share' then 'embed', press 'copy'. Then go to your post in 'edit,' put cursor where you want video to go, then press your 'paste' key (control and 'v') and bingo! If I can do it, anyone can:)

It sounds like a really uncomfortable thing to have. I loved the imagery in this piece Debi and I thought you did an excellent job of bringing your poem to life and making it engaging. I enjoyed reading it.
