What an example of "You get only one chance to make a good first impression." This was Jane's new sister-in-law's harbinger of what it was going to be like in this new family. Hopefully, she had a really good sense of humor...well, and tweezers.

Oh my goodness. How fantastically embarrassing. My sister jumped out of a moving car once when a bee flew in the window!
Some people just have that fear.

Omg That's so funny!!! True story. Back in NY my husband and I once rented a house. From a fan in the bathroom attached to the roof yellow jackets created a huge hive. The landlord lady didn't believe us and she came over. Bees were flying our of the bathroom fan it was horrible.
Your story definitely brought back memories. Oh also my husband is allergic to bee stings. Your story made me LAUGH.
