I love this - the reassurance of someone to calm fears, and the fire in the heart still. The stereotype is usually that love lasts but passion doesn't. Thank you for proving it wrong in your poem.

I can't think of a better word than "hot" to describe this. You used words like "melts" and "ignites" to great effect. It is also sweet that these feelings are present after a long time. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
