Thank you for telling us the source of the story in your notes. I am a particular fan of adding imagination to reality. Putting the snow in the scene added a dimension to the two line format.

This is lovely! I enjoyed this imagery and the fact that it's based on a true story. It's a little like the Biblical reference to the lion and the lamb. Harsh cold can make former adversaries think more carefully about their relationships and their mutual need for warmth, I guess. :)

    Thank you Navada! I enjoyed seeing the fox, who hung out for the entire summer into late fall. Who, but God knows, maybe a lamb will show up too this winter to. I appreciate your kind words.
