Wow, Dolly, I thank you with all my heart for this remarkable review and your gracious six stars for this silly two line poem.

I have something to say to you, and I don't know if this is the place or not, but I may not have all the right words and feelings so perfectly in my head at another time, so here goes:
I have been meaning to tell you for sometime, and always seem to forget.
Anything that I have learned here about syllable count and meter, how to feel and know which words can be used in certain places and not others, etc...,
I have learned from you. You told me once that if I kept working at it, someday it would come natural. You took the time to tell me many things that at one time confused the heck out of me. LOL..

At times I can still get stressed with how to start a sentence with stressed and unstressed words, when I have something that has to be said in a single line. But because of you, I am so much farther than I was a year ago. So I want to thank you for that with all my heart, the utmost respect and appreciation, and much love!!

I think we have all learned to write better on Fanstory with good and helpful reviews Debi, and I was pretty useless when I first started writing poetry. I am honoured that you have been helped by my consistent critique about metre and syllable count. When we know we have improved, I think we are on your way to writing with more care. I am not perfect, and always appreciate good reviews that help my poems improve.

I loved your sense of humour and fun in this post and when a poem touches us emotionally then it has always achieved its aim. I wish you luck with your poetry Debi and keep that pen full of ink my dear friend.
