Yes- one of our everyday modern ills that we now contend with and it can be so irritating!! Well documented here both verbally and visually -do they not realise the 'non-stop' aspect of the activity !!

Good choice for probably a universally felt annoyance! My grievance is with young women in the gym locker room on cellphones FaceTiming (video) their boyfriends while I'm trying to get changed.
And you nailed it, it's just selfish and thoughtless!
