In all honesty the smell is the minor issue , what I hate are the flies that lay eggs and 24 hours later there are maggots. Yikes!
In my country some cities live with trash piled up on the side of the roads .
Instead of wasting money on wars , our leaders should focus on environmental issues like trash that pollutes our air, soil and water.

I didn't take up the challenge to write something for this contest because I have no idea what I'd write about, but I must say, you've done so brilliantly. This Lowku poem is a little bit of everything-- a little bit of poetic, of humorous, of clever, of gross. lol. This was great!
