This is creative retelling of the story of how Moses received and announced the Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai. I agree it is a new twist on the story deserving of a second place win in the 100 Word Story contest. "Pinky Promise." :-)

Your prose is always engaging.
A Pinky promise is all about two swearing to keep a secret.
While the two pinkies are hooked there is a short saying to recite too.
The is a meaning behind this gesture : it's about the value of trust and fulfilling a commitment made.
God and Moses made a promise on mount Sinai. A promise that involve trust and commitment.
I recall doing one or two when I was a kid. I was under the impression that mostly kids and teens did them.
I googled .. the Japanese mafia make pinky promises too and those that fail to keep the promise made , their pinky is cut off. Yikes.
