But the cycles of life have a way of repeating themselves. When things are bad, they get better if you don't die. But when things are good, get ready, it's all going to turn to crap soon. So, wait; is this the last chapter, then, of Spectre? It's nice that you left us on a high but with the anticipation of a special man coming into your life. Nope this is not the last chapter specter only an interlude. I revise the other chapter if you'd like to have teeth thank you for this one too absolutely no there's this is a trilogy there's so much more to say yet. Thank you for reviewing and asking and showing your interest and being my friend and all the great things that you are thank you again.

I did know that Spectre is part 2 of your trilogy. I just wasn't sure if this was the end of part 2.

I liked reading this. It was much more relaxed than all the other h-e-double hockey sticks you had been through. The part about calling the dog the wrong name is hilarious.
A suggestion, which I think another reviewer started on but I had one more thing to add to it:
"P started howling! Laughing his face off.
"Works everytime," P chuckled.
I would try:
P starting howling, laughing his face off. "Works every time," he chuckled.

Opening up a wound and cleansing it is what you have achieved with your posts Lea. Here you show us the wonder of a life you never knew existing outside the cruelty you received by your Mother and Stepfather. Your Mother feels the shame and this is why she will not feel remorse. Some people never see the error in their ways and go to their graves still believing they are right and the rest of the world is wrong. I enjoyed your feelings of joy in this chapter, love Dolly x

I'm sorry to hear that your mother hasn't had a change of heart, but I'm not surprised to hear that. Admitting that she dropped the ball puts the blame largely on her, and she doesn't want to do that I suppose.
I'm surprised that P's mother and dad would allow you to go up to his room, and that he would be smoking pot. I guess I was misreading their character. Obviously though, they are a caring family and their willingness to welcome you into the family says a lot about them. Thanks for sharing gal.

Hi Tom how are you I hope you are well! Mrs. B was at church going lady. She was naive in many ways I did ask you about him that time as I recall but I didn't want the emphasis to be on his pipe and more about what was happening. She was a wonderful lady who showed me what family love could be. Thank you Tom always your for your caring and empathy and for your kind reviews and for being here with me in the process of writing has had many ups and downs and you have been there throughout thank you so much enjoy your day!
