Fine. Have been outside, planting Indian Hawthorn in big pots. They are pretty hardy. Am hoping my plants that look dead that I uncovered too soon, (brilliant) will get new growth - those that have green down in their stems.
Had knee aspirated the other day. not fun, but swelling's gone. Aren't you glad to hear all this? :)

I love this poem! You've captured the dual sides of people's personas in such a way that the reader can see them and feel their personalities. I love the way your characters and words rhyme and just dance and flow down the page. I can tell you really must observe people a lot to be able to describe them so well.

You're so right, Ann. I read the best book years ago by an author named Sarah Ban Breathneck, and in it, she said the best way to ever stop yourself from coveting anyone else's life is to understand that you wouldn't get to pick-and-choose just the "good" parts. You would have to have every part of it. So, yes, maybe you'd get their beautiful skin, but you'd also be saddled with a horrible mother-in-law. The way things looks on the outside are just the teeniest portion of anyone's life.
