Hi Navada,
This is a well formatted free verse using line length and line breaks well to show the ups and downs of life. It show how simple acts can change life from good to bad and vice versa. The artwork is and apt metaphor for the poem.
Congrats on placing third in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great weekend.

I'm with you, Nadava, thanks for sharing this with us...Indeed there are times when my heart aches, from the things life presents to us...Yet, each and every time, perhaps not at the time I might want, Father God sends a message, and all turns out for the better...Am I perfect, no I am not..but God still cares for me...What a thoughtful and meaningful poem...Blessings, and yes a Hug too!!!
(maybe even 2).
Good Luck in the Contest!
Warmly

I liked reading this free verse poem. My favorite part was:
suddenly I'm giddy
stumbling, fumbling
grasping, clasping
We all go through small and large crises of faith, and it is awesome to know that faith will stabilize everything once more.

We just need to hold onto that moral compass when we feel a little lost. Life's journey is never smooth. But we are guided if we allow ourselves Him to be the Leader.

This is a very beautiful poem that you have written on your faith. I enjoyed listening to it as it was being read aloud. It moves well, and it looks beautiful on the page. I wish you the very best.

Hello Navada,
I appreciate your honesty on the subject of faith. I used to think that I was somehow flawed because I didn't embrace God the same way that some religious people did. It's a personal journey for sure, and it's up to us to reach out to the Lord for understanding and strength. Life is hard sometimes, but God never leaves us or forsakes us. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Have a blessed Christmas.

You poem speak to me of my own life. I guess we are all flawed but thankfully God understands that. Life is a series of chapters in which emotions ebb ane flow, but faith remains a constant. This is an excellent poem.

And are you brilliant and talented? A resounding YESSSS!!! This poem really resonated with me today. It's wise and frank and common sensical and (here comes that word again) Brilliant. Honestly, I have yet not to absolutely love anything you've posted on here. You're exceptional. You truly are. xo

A very honest poem (and notes) of faith, and I feel sure that most of us will identify with your feelings. Perhaps those who don't might not be honest with themselves. Very few make a steady path upwards. But we can accept His offer of forgiveness and have certainty simply because He keeps His promises, thankfully. We don't want to then fall away again and try not to, but He knows our frailty and also our desire to please Him. I like your comparison with revolutions of a wheel, and with the facets of a diamond. I like too that you point out the value of a helping hand in times of darkness or confusion. Beautifully written in an original way. It's like hearing you think aloud. Best wishes for the contest.
