This is a precious posting with the baby elephant and little girl. The seasonal message is wonderful and heartfelt. Christmas, especially, is an excellent time to mend broken relationships and welcome family and friends with warm hugs.

What a lovely sentiment. And truer words were never written, either. We have NO IDEA when our time is up --or that of our loved ones', either. There's no way to know if the last time we saw them will be the last time we saw them forevermore. Thanks for the gentle reminder. xo

Yup, I'm going to give you a rather great rating on your story. I so agree with you that we should treat our animals on this earth with TLC. But we should treat humans as humans, not animals, too.

This is a nice and warm commentary, and it befits this holiday season. But, and I mean no offense. This is not a story. It is a message, a good one, but still, not a story as the contest calls for. You can keep it if you like, and it may pass the committee, and voters, this is FanStory after all. But I would suggest thinking about it.
