I have great respect for pilots and their complex understanding of machines and physics. I struggle with dialysis machines which are infinitely more simple in comparison.
I had to do some research on this one and I'm afraid I don't fully understand all the complexities but I think that is a nod in appreciation that you are able to turn something highly mechanical into a poetic homage.
The repetition in the first couple of lines was an interesting choice but based off the research I did, it makes sense and it still works well for the poem.

Its basically all about the Lancaster's whole design and redesign the numbers were great to work with eventually the game is up 1937 is the metaphor.

This is amazing how you combined technical spec information and history with poetry. I just learned something I knew nothing about! I would probably remember a lot more history if it were in this form. Thanks for sharing!

I believe Barnes Wallis was the genuis behind the Dambusters episode - the one who created the bouncing bombs needed to pull off that incredibly brave feat. Thanks for the share.
